Beautiful and very solid, feels like it will last a very long time. The embedded resin river is flush with the wood grain, and the end grain seems to absorb oil well for a protective layer and shine. There is a single out of place streak in the wood which I might have corrected by replacing that piece, but its natural wood and doesn't detract from the overall appreciation. Highly recommend this shop and craftsmanship.

Absolutely gorgeous craftsmanship, but was honestly expecting it to be a full size chopping board based on the photos and price... unfortunately it’s more like a miniature size board. Considering what it was originally intended for, I anticipate it will become more of a decorative addition to the kitchen rather than a useful daily kitchen tool.

My interest in woodworking began as a very young boy, in my father’s wood-shop. Armed with a hammer, a can of nails and a pile of scrap-wood representing endless possibilities, I’d set to work. In 2013, when my wife and I moved into our first house, I set about the process of turning the garage into a space to create. In the years since, I’ve built up the tools, knowledge and skills to allow me to begin offering some products to others. My goal with this shop is to offer the very best, useful and beautiful wood items I can make.

Care instructions

Wood items benefit from regular care and maintenance. For items that will be used for food applications, mineral oil and food-safe wax, such as beeswax are ideal. When the wood begins to look dull or dry, wipe down with oil and buff with wax to restore the beauty of the wood, as well as provide some protection.

Custom and personalized orders

Many custom options are available, and more will be added as time goes on. As of right now, monogramming is available on any cutting board, and many options are available: font choice, layout, and even inlay materials, such as copper, brass, turquoise, blue lapis, etc. If you have an idea let me know, and we can discuss it!

Wholesale availability

Some discounts may be available for larger orders. Contact me if you want to order cutting boards or other items in bulk.
